Start date & time: (29 April 2009 at 12:00 pm Cyprus Local time – GMT+3 summer time);
- End date & time: (29 May 2009 at 12:00 pm Cyprus Local time – GMT+3 summer time) – all Open positions held by clients’ Demo trading competition accounts will be liquidated automatically.
- Application deadline: (26 April 2009 at 12:00 am Cyprus Local time – GMT+3 summer time) – Any application received beyond this date will not be accepted for this Demo trading competition;
- Application form should be completed with the clients’ correct details.
- One (1) Demo trading competition account per participant;
- Each Demo trading competition account will be credited with US$ 10,000, virtual money;
- Close a minimum of 50 standard lots within minimum 50 transactions;
- No scalping strategies;
- No sniping strategies.
| 4. Goal of the competition participants |
To increase the balance of Demo trading competition account and win one of the prices assigned.
| 5. Determination of the winner |
• The top three winners will be the participants with the highest balance (after closing all positions at the “end date” as specified above) held by their Demo trading competition accounts:
- First place winner: highest balance; closed 50 standard lots with a minimum 50 transactions;
- Second place winner: second highest balance; closed 50 standard lots with a minimum 50 transactions;
- Third place winner: third highest balance; closed 50 standard lots with a minimum 50 transactions.
• In cases where the two or more participants achieve the same balance, the Demo trading competition account with the highest number of closed standard lots will be declared the Winner.
Note: After the announcement of the winners, participants will have a time period of 2 days to dispute the results and request to recheck their Demo trading competition accounts’ results. Should no dispute be received within 2 days, the published results will be deemed final.
The top three winners will obtain Real Trading Accounts with Windsor credited with the following amounts :
- US$ 3000 (1st place winner)
- US$ 2000 (2nd place winner)
- US$ 1000 (3rd place winner)
| 7. Prize Claiming Conditions |
Winners are requested to provide the following documents within 1 month after the announcement of the competition results:
- Valid true copy of identification document, certified from a certifying officer as a true copy of the original;
- Recent Proof of address (not older than 1 year), such as utility bill, Bank Statement or any other official document (P.O. Box will not considered sufficient);
- Full Contact Details (residence address, correspondence address, telephone number, e-mail address);
- Bank account details (including bank name, address, and account number);
- Complete and signed Account Opening Documents
NOTE: Winners will be able to withdraw funds from their “Real” Trading Accounts once they have closed a minimum number of lots, specifically:
- 80 Standard lots (1st Place Winner)
- 60 Standard lots (2nd Place Winner)
- 30 Standard lots (3rd Place Winner)
(First trade must take place within a month of the creation of the Real Trading Account).
| 8. Use of Competition for promotional purposes |
The top 3 winners authorize Windsor, during and after the end of the Demo trading competition, to publish on Windsor’s website the results from their Demo trading competition accounts.
- Throughout the Demo trading competition, the top 10 Demo trading competition accounts, with the highest balance resulted from their trading activities, will be published on Windsor’s website and updated on a weekly basis.
In cases of any discretion in trading, overleveraging, misuse of orders where “scalping” and “sniping” may be involved, such transactions might be removed from the participant’s Demo competition trading account. Windsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant found in violation of the Demo trading competition rules or applying any other inappropriate trading strategies.
Windsor shall not be held responsible for any delays in the acceptance or transmission of orders due to a breakdown or failure of transmission or communication facilities, or for any other cause beyond their reasonable control or anticipation.
| 11. Postponement or cancellation |
Windsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to: extend the Demo trading competition period; to postpone the “start date” and/or “end date”; to cancel the competition; to reject any participant’s application; amend, waive or interpret any rule during and after the Demo trading competition.
